Pakistan and New Zealand are currently engaged in a long limited over bilateral series in Pakistan. 

Pakistan had a full strength squad with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman and Haris Rauf.

New Zealand flew in with a second-string squad with several of their first team players currently plying their trade in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) like Lockie Ferguson and Trent Boult.

Pakistan got off to a flyer in the T20I series against New Zealand winning the first two fixtures. But the Kiwis fought back and made it 2-2 with one game called off due to hailstorms.Babar Azam after failing to score in the first game has roared back to form later on.  

The five-match T20 series was followed by an ODI series. The first two ODIs were played in Rawalpindi whereas, the final three will be hosted in Karachi. 

Pakistan won the first ODI by five wickets and followed that up with another win in the second ODI.
