The modern-day T20I cricket has been witness to some exceptional cricket, especially when it comes to run chases. Chasing a 200+ score, which once seemed to be difficult even in the longer formats, has now become a regular occurrence.

With the style of cricket being played evolving, chasing 200-plus totals, even in the shortest format, has become a matter of fun for the big sides. The Australian men's side, which is currently touring the West Indies, achieved such a feat twice recently, chasing 200+ totals in consecutive games. 

Australia, with their back-to-back massive chases against the West Indies, have now equalled India as the team with the most successful 200+ chases in T20I cricket. 

The Sporting News takes a look at top 10 most number of successful chases over 200 in T20Is.

Most 200+ run chases in T20I cricket: Australia equals India

Australia chased down 215 runs in just 16.1 overs against the West Indies in the 3rd T20I. The champion side repeated its dominance in the 4th T20I as well, chasing 206, taking a 4-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. 

With their chase in the 4th T20I, Australia also equalled India's record, completing the task for the 7th time in T20I cricket history.

T20I cricket is evolving each day. With the ICC trying to bring in more teams to the fore, the modern-day game might well see more such instances from teams from all over the world.
