Ellyse Perry has overcome a hip injury and has been passed fit to play in Monday afternoon's must-win clash against New Zealand in the Women's T20 World Cup.

The 29-year old suffered the injury diving for a ball in the field last week against Bangladesh, and had to undergo a fitness test on Monday morning in a late bid to play.

But with less than an hour until the clash with NZ, Perry was seen marking her run-up at Junction Oval.
