Sebastian Fundora (23-1-1), the man who handed Tim Tszyu a devastating defeat in their rematch last month, will reportedly defend his WBC super welterweight title against Keith Thurman (31-1).
The six-foot-six southpaw turned in a career-best performance to stop the Australian, with Tszyu retiring in his corner ahead of the start of the eighth round.
Now, the 27-year-old Fundora is set to face former unified welterweight champion Thurman in Las Vegas in October.

The fight will headline a PBC on Prime PPV. Thurman, 36, will look to become a two-division champion.
The bout gives Fundora an opportunity to add a future Hall of Famer to his resume, while for Thurman, it's a chance to become a two-division world champion.
Thurman, 36, was due to end a two-year layoff from the ring when booked to face Tszyu last March.
A biceps injury forced Thurman out of the fight, with the Florida native replaced by Fundora at late notice.
Fundora went on to beat Tszyu in a bloody split decision, before leaving no doubt in the rematch last month.
Thurman would end up sidelined for another 12 months before finally making his return earlier this year in Sydney against Brock Jarvis, winning by knockout in the third round.
