Jai Opetaia 's new opponent has been confirmed with David Nyika set to step into the ring on January 8.
Opetaia was initially meant to face off against Huseyin Cinkara on the same date, however, the German was forced to withdraw from the fight after sustaining ligament damage in his ankle while in camp.
Squaring off against Nyika, Opetaia, the IBF and The Ring cruiserweight champion, will look to continue his unbeaten record of 26-0.
