Who will call themselves the WBO lightweight champion when Emanuel Navarrete and Denys Berinchyk face off on May 18? 

Airing the night of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk, the fight is on ESPN+ in the U.S.

The 29-year-old Navarrete (38-1-1) is a three-division champion, first holding the WBO super bantamweight title in 2018. He then won the WBO featherweight belt in 2020 and the WBO super featherweight title in February 2023. The Mexican fighter looks to enter pound-for-pound conversations by winning a belt in his fourth division. 

Berinchyk (18-0) won silver in the 212 Olympics and turned pro in 2015. The Ukrainian won the European lightweight title in 2022. It will be his first time fighting for gold, securing a title shot after beating Anthony Yigit.

Moore (14-0) has won eight fights via knockout. He won the NABF junior heavyweight title to end 2023 and is ready to halt Torrez’s momentum.
