Darcy Lussick has hit back at Nelson Asofa-Solomona after the Melbourne Storm prop called him out for a boxing match over the weekend

After making an impressive boxing debut with a 39 second win over Justin Hodges last December, Lussick was called out by Asofa-Solomona via Instagram on Saturday.

"When you fight a retired back," NAS wrote in an Instagram story along with footage of Lussick's knockout win over Hodges.

"Darcy Lussick if you want a real fight, I'd happily jab your face off for easy money."

The Kiwi Test forward's comments went viral on social media, with Isaac John's YKTR Sports Instagram page posting a clip of Asofa-Solomona hitting pads.

Lussick was quick to hit back in the comments of the YKTR Instagram post.

"I'm Nelson's daddy," he said in one comment.

And in another: "I'll slap his trainer too for free."

After his win over Hodges, Lussick said he'd be interested in fighting Paul Gallen, but the retired Sharks captain has his eyes set on a boxing match with Mark Hunt

Asofa-Solomona hasn't had any formal boxing experience.

Last year he landed himself in hot water after he was caught on camera in a brawl outside a nightclub in Bali.
