Callum Peters records fourth-straight first-round KO

The rising middleweight scored the biggest win of his fledgling career when stopping the tough Marcus Heywood in the first round in Brisbane on July 30.

Heywood had previously gone the distance with the likes of Andrei Mikhailovich, Dylan Biggs, Mason Smith and Danilo Creati, but the Kiwi's trademark durability was no much for the volume punching and body assault of Peters.

The bout was waved off just before the halfway point in the opening round, with Peters twice putting Heywood down with piercing left hooks to the body.

Despite moving to 4-0 as a pro, Peters has logged just over six minutes of ring time, highlighting his offensive dominance.
