MLB rumors: No-trade clause could be possible for Stanton in Miami
Giancarlo Stanton has played 634 games with the Marlins, the 10th most in team history, and the most of anyone who has only played in Miami. Given the team’s history of dealing away stars, it is understandable that Stanton might ask for a no-trade clause if he agrees to a long-term extension and foregoes the possibility of becoming a free agent in two years.
