The Crows have claimed a third AFLW premiership with a gritty 4.5 (29) to 2.4 (16) win over Melbourne in the grand final at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

Adelaide have now won three of the five flags awarded in the competition, cementing themselves as the AFLW powerhouse.

The Demons, playing in their first grand final, struggled to get the ball into attacking positions after the disciplined Crows got an early jump on them in front of over 16,000 fans.

Anne Hatchard was awarded the best-on-ground medal for her 26 disposal effort which featured 22 kicks and nine marks.
