Winter Olympics 2018: Twitter shows Chloe Kim love for winning halfpipe gold image

Chloe Kim won Olympic gold and Twitter on Tuesday in South Korea.

The 17-year-old U.S. snowboarding star won the ladies' halfpipe final thanks to a superior first run (of three), which was followed by a second in-competition food tweet in as many days.

UPDATE: Kim, via The Washington Post, explained what was up with the sandwich:

UPDATE 2: MORE FOOD TWEETS!

Anyway, Kim had the gold won before her final run, so she turned the finale into a personal challenge to earn a perfect score (she just missed).

YEAR IN PREVIEW: Kim was one of SN's Faces of 2018

Didn't matter. In Twitter's mind, the golden girl was still 100.
