Gout Gout continues to level up.
The Australian sprinting sensation has set a new Australian record over 200m, recording a time of 20.02 at the Ostrava Golden Spike meet in Czechia.
In what was his professional debut, the 17-year-old delivered in a highly anticipated race.
Gout was well-placed at the bend before he powered past Cuban Reynier Mena in the straight to claim his first senior win.

Gout's performance inches him closer to breaking the elusive 20-second barrier.
He clocked a 19.84 at the National Championships in Perth, but a +2.2m/s wind speed meant the time was not legal.
The Ipswich-born talent is confident he will achieve the feat sooner rather than later.
"Get some more races in me, and it (20 seconds) will drop for sure," Gout said.
"I feel good. New personal best, new national record in my first European race."

The teenager ventured to Ostrava to gain experience ahead of the World Championships, which are scheduled to take place in Tokyo in mid-September.
"The main goal of the season is obviously (the) World Championships," Gout said ahead of the meet in Czechia.
"Let’s see what I can do on the world stage against professional athletes.
"Hopefully, I can run fast and perform well."
