The Gold Coast SUNS are set to face off against the Brisbane Lions on Saturday in Round 20 of the 2025 AFL season at the People First Stadium.

With eight victories in the first ten games of the season, the Suns enjoyed a strong start to the season. But after a disheartening run of three defeats, they have bounced back, winning three of their past four games to take eighth place in the AFL standings going into Round 20.

With seven victories and only one defeat in their first eight games, the Lions appeared to be the team to beat this season.  But after their unexpected 71-71 draw with North Melbourne, that form abruptly vanished.

After that, Brisbane was only able to win two of their five games.  They have subsequently recovered, though, winning four in a row, and they are still ranked second in the AFL rankings.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.
