The West Coast Eagles are set to take on the GWS Giants in Round 17 of the 2025 Australian Football League (AFL) at Optus Stadium.

The Eagles have had an absolutely torrid time through the opening 16 rounds of the AFL home-and-away season. They have only managed to take home one win through 15 games, which came against St Kilda in Round 10. As such, they are placed at the bottom of the ladder and are pretty much ruled out of the running for the Top Eight race.

The Giants, on the other hand, have had a better time as they have taken nine wins through their 15 games. However, they are currently sitting just outside the Top Eight but have been in and out of the run for the Finals Series in close running with the Western Bulldogs and the Gold Coast SUNS.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including how to watch the match, kickoff times, and the latest lineup news.
