The Sydney Swans are set to play host to Carlton in Round 10 of the 2025 Australian Football League (AFL) season at the Sydney Cricket Ground as last year's runners-up look to resurrect their season.
To say the Swans have disappointed so far would be underplaying just how below-par the 2024 minor premiers have been. After starting the 2025 season with two straight losses to the Hawks and the Lions, all did not seem to be that lost for John Longmire's successor, Dean Cox.
They managed to go on a two-game winning run, however, they have since only managed one win in the last five games and now sit 14th on the ladder.
Carlton had a much worse start to the campaign as they lost their opening four games and were pinned in the bottom three on the ladder. However, their turnaround has been massive as their last five games have seen them take four wins and will now look to continue their climb into the top half of the ladder with a strong showing on Thursday.
