Carlton and the GWS Giants are set to face off this Saturday at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne in Round 11 of the 2025 Australian Football League (AFL) home-and-away season.
Carlton had a very disappointing start to their season through the opening four games. They lost four in a row and were pinned to the bottom alongside the West Coast Eagles, whom Carlton beat in Round 5 to gain their first win of the season.
Michael Voss' side then followed it up with two more wins against North Melbourne and the Geelong Cats that saw them rise higher up the ladder. In their last three games, Carlton has suffered two losses on either side of a win against St. Kilda.
The Giants had a wonderful start to their home-and-away season as they took four wins in their opening five games and looked set to challenge for the top spot on the ladder. However, they then suffered three straight defeats, starting with the loss against the Adelaide Crows.
Adam Kingsley's side then took home a tight win against the Geelong Cats before they suffered yet another defeat against Fremantle. They are now placed on the cusp of the top eight and will now look to bring an end to their run of bad form at Marvel Stadium on Saturday.
