The AFL has reportedly locked in entertainment for the 2025 grand final with a US rapper set to perform.
US rapper Snoop Dogg is rumoured to be the artist to perform at the grand final in September this year.
Host Ross Stevenson told 3AW’s Rumour File who the entertainment was to be for AFL’s biggest day.
“It has been suggested to me that the grand final entertainment this year will be Snoop Dogg,” Stevenson said on 3AW.

The rapper performed at the NFL Super Bowl halftime show in 2022 alongside a famous list of musicians including Dr Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar.
Stevenson’s co-host, Russel Howcroft, said that the AFL have reportedly taken full control of who plays the grand final.
“I don’t know whether this is rumour or flesh on the bones or just adding to the story, but I believe what's happening this year is that the AFL is taking full control of who is the entertainment at the grand final,” Howcroft said on 3AW.
"They used to let's say outsource it. There was a third party involved; that third party is no longer involved, (now) it’s all in-house."
Stevenson said Snoop Dogg is playing in the Philippines with Dr Dre and Ice Cube two days before the grand finals, which is only an eight-hour flight away.
Katy Perry played last year's grand final while KISS and Robbie Williams performed in 2023 and 2022 respectively.
The AFL hasn’t confirmed the entertainment for the Grand Final, which will take place on the 27th of September.
