Sydney's decline from AFL grand finalist to possible bottom-four contenders is gaining momentum after the Swans lost by 90 points to Adelaide at the SCG on Saturday night.
Dean Cox's side slipped to 14th on the ladder with four wins and eight losses, as finals and another flag tilt look increasingly unrealistic in 2025.
A post-match moment that epitomised Sydney's fall from grace was an interview with softly-spoken Crows flanker Wayne Milera.
In a refreshing moment of honesty, Milera described the Swans as a 'rabble' with the Crows kicking 21 goals to five in the demolition.

"You could sort of feel it as a group … they were sort of a bit of a rabble, just hearing them on the ground," Milera told the ABC post-match.
Swans coach Cox is under serious pressure as the transition from John Longmire to himself continues to not bear fruit.
The five-time All-Australian was scathing of his team's performance, particularly as the night was celebrating a 20-year premiership reunion.
"It was unacceptable and embarrassing," Cox said.
"Massive night for the footy club when you have a 20-year reunion.
"For a team that played desperate, uncompromising, ruthless football, and that (Saturday's performance) was far from it, so we need to strip it back and get to work real quick.
"We are going to fight our way through this, everyone that's involved at the footy club, and there's going to be no easy way through it.
"I said to them 'expect some tough sessions'. That’ll happen."
