North Melbourne are set to play two 'home' matches in Western Australia next season as part of a lucrative arrangement for the AFL club.

In the prospective deal, the Kangaroos will play West Coast and Fremantle in WA as home games for the next three seasons in a deal worth approximately $6 million, reports Ryan Daniels.

Both the matches are expected to be in back-to-back rounds, with one hosted at Optus Stadium and other at a regional venue such as Bunbury.

AFL TRADE AND DRAFT NEWS:

The Kangaroos played four 'home' matches at Hobart's Bellerive Oval in 2024, but that number will likely be reduced to two in 2025 before being scaled down further ahead of Tasmania's team joining the competition

West Coast and Fremantle played 12 matches at Optus Stadium in 2024, including the derbies, and it will be interesting to see if they will each be granted 13 games in 2025 in their home state.
