St Kilda have made history after coming back from 46 points down at three-quarter time to beat Melbourne by six points.

The greatest three quarter time comeback now belongs to the Saints after turning around the 46 point margin at the final break.

The Demons had a free kick against them with eight seconds left, with a 6-6-6 infringement seeing the Saints having a free kick into their forward 50 with ruckman Rowan Marshall kicking it to Wanganeen-Milera, who marked and slotted the goal.

The Demons seemed in control at three-quarters time, but an avalanche of goals by the Saints has seen them on the wrong side of history.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera dominated in the last five minutes of the game as he kicked the last two goals of the game, including the match-winner after the siren.

Wanganeen-Milera had a brilliant game as he had 34 disposals and 4 goals to lead his team to victory in a contract year for the superstar.

The Saints only led for one minute and 30 seconds, while the Demons led for 120 minutes, showcasing the Dees' dominance in the first three quarters.

A jubilant Saints side celebrated the extraordinary win in style with the whole team jumping on each other, while the Demons looked dejected after another flattening loss.

The Dees went goalless in the final term, only kicking four behinds while the Saints kicked nine goals and two behinds.

The final scores from Marvel Stadium saw St Kilda (15.6) 96 defeat Melbourne (13.12) 90.
