Collingwood flexed their muscles as premiership favourites on Friday night with their demolition of Hawthorn - but one statistic from that match was simply extraordinary.
The Magpies destroyed their fellow flag contender by 51 points at the MCG and with an incredible tackle advantage of 82-38 across the match.
But that wasn't the most remarkable statistic - it was the fact Collingwood had more forward half tackles (44) than Hawthorn had tackles for the match (38).
It was a ruthless display of forward pressure, led by the likes of Lachie Schultz (six tackles), Beau McCreery (six) and Brody Mihocek (four).

When that type of heat is brought by a team, it's going to be nearly impossible for the opposition to win - which is the clear modus operandi of Craig McRae's side in 2025.
Despite having the oldest AFL list of all-time, the Magpies are putting the forward the theory that experience and age can be advantage, not a hinderance.
While premierships aren't won in June, McRae feels like Collingwood produced close to its best performance of the season.
"I think the game up in Brisbane was really, really strong. It probably had similarities with tonight in the way we pressured and defended the ground, I think we kept Brisbane to a similar scoreline," McRae said.
"I really loved our maturity tonight, particularly in the last quarter when you think the opposition are going to take a lot of risks and try a few different things – just to be able to control the tempo of the game when we needed to, or whatever it looked like. It was a really great performance from us.
"It shows our ability to defend the ground against a really good team. They've had our measure, the last couple of times, in all different areas. Ball movement was one where we haven't been able to defend this team, and tonight, we showed we've got a bit of growth in us."
