AFL Coleman Medal leaderboard: Ben Brown's 10 puts him on top image

We have a new leader in the race for the Coleman Medal with one round to play after Ben Brown booted 10 goals in round 22.

The North Melbourne spearhead had 10 straight at one point, finishing with 10.1 as his side hammered Port Adelaide on Saturday night.

After leading for most of the season, Jeremy Cameron now sits second, four goals behind Brown heading into the final round of the home-and-away season.

Cameron sat out the Giants' big defeat to the Bulldogs on Sunday, seeing him unable to hunt down Brown's lead.

There was also some movement in the placings, with Richmond star Tom Lynch now up to third following his three-goal effort against the Eagles.

After Brown, Charlie Cameron was biggest mover among the contenders, kicking five goals as Brisbane underlined their premiership push with a win over the ladder-leading Cats.

In that same game, Geelong tall Tom Hawkins was held goalless by Marcus Adams, seeing several players jump past him.

Departing Hawks legend Jarryd Roughead managed to kick six against the Suns in his farewell game, though after spending most of the season in the twos, he's a long way from contention for the Coleman.

Looking ahead to round 23, Brown and the Roos host Melbourne in Hobart, while Cameron, if fit, will travel to Gold Coast to take on the Suns.
