Collingwood is locked in for finals this year, yet there is still some work for to do off the field with much of their 2023 premiership side out of contract.
The Pies have 18 players out of contract at the end of this year, including 10 players from their 2023 Premiership side.
Jeremy Howe, Jamie Elliot and Brody Mihocek have all been offered contracts for next year, according to afl.com.au journalist Riley Beveridge.
Howe was offered a one-year deal for next year, where the 2023 premiership player would be 36 years old at the end of 2026.

Brownlow Medalist and Premiership Magpie Tom Mitchell also wants to play on next year, telling afl.com.au he ‘100 per cent wants to keep playing footy’ next year.
Mitchell has played 35 games for the Pies but has missed significant time due to a broken leg and a foot injury, and has yet to discuss a new contract with them.
Other 2023 premiership Magpies currently out of contract at Collingwood include Billy Frampton, Mason Cox, Oleg Markov, Scott Pendlebury, Steele Sidebottom and Will Hoskin-Elliott.
Pies Ruckman Darcy Cameron is another one to watch out for as he decides whether to request a trade back to his home state of Western Australia with one year remaining on his contract, as the West Coast Eagles are reportedly interested in him.
Collingwood have also been busy in the trade period as they discuss whether to sign Carlton’s Jack Silvani on a proposed four-year deal.
They have also locked away talent long-term with Nick Daicos (2029), Josh Daicos (2030), Dan Houston (2030), Bobby Hill (2030), Brayden Maynard (2029), and Harry Perryman (2030) all locked away for the long term.
The Pies are currently sitting first on the ladder with four rounds to go, a game clear of Adelaide, who are in second spot.
