Brisbane will head to the tribunal to appeal a one-week ban against one of their star players.
Lions star Zac Bailey was banned for one week for a high hit on Carlton’s Nick Haynes on Thursday night.
The Lions won by 37 points against the Blues and currently sit in second place on the ladder with six rounds remaining.
The club came out today and said they will challenge the ban at what could be a busy night at the AFL tribunal tomorrow night.

Carlton star Adam Cerra will be at the tribunal to find out his fate after colliding with an umpire for the fourth time in two years, in what will be a test case for future bans.
Players such as Gold Coast’s Matt Rowell and St Kilda’s Jack McRae are facing potential bans for umpire contact, with Cerra’s case one to watch on Tuesday night.
Zac Bailey has received a one-game suspension for this incident involving Nick Haynes.

North Melbourne ruckman Trisitan Xerri could also be facing the tribunal after a swinging arm left Melbourne’s Tom Sparrow knocked out before he hit the floor in the Kangaroos’ loss on the weekend.
Xerri is facing a potential three-week ban based on certain guidelines from the MRO, which could potentially trigger a compulsory tribunal visit.
Brisbane will be hoping Bailey will win the appeal at the tribunal as the Lions take on a tough Western Bulldogs side at the Gabba this week.
